The author’s thoughts about the picture:
A serpent eating its own tail can be interpreted as a symbol of rebirth and circulation of energy. The red spot symbolizes the start of something — you begin reading the composition. Clockwise, from left to right. The black flat spot travels beyond the edges of canvas and thus acts as a symbol of earthliness.
The picture is rather expressive and hands add dynamic elements to it. All elements are connected to each other.
The author
Dmytro Baryshev – Ukrainian painter and an interior designer who creates his paintings with his left hand. He has won and participated in many national, international and solo exhibitions.
In 2000 he won a presidential scholarship in Ukraine, in 2006 he was awarded with the Order of Saint Vladimir for his contribution to the revival of spirituality in Ukraine.
